karen, i have to say: nyc was better than y2canada - but it would have been even better if all the c2beavs had been there…it would have been as cool as kendra’s hairy nipples…

fairtax

Filed under: main — Andy @ 12:02 pm

Hi folks,

Do you really think that the FairTax will be good for the country? Do you really think it’s possible to get it passed? If so, it’s time to begin taking more direct action to get the FairTax passed.

This email is being sent to the 800 people who recently volunteered from the 6th Congressional District. Let’s become the spark that flashes across the country to make it happen!

If each of the 800 volunteers can recruit 3 friends, and get them to do the same the progression will appear as follows:

New Letters 800 —> 2,400 —> 7,200 —> 21,600 —> 64,800 —> 194,400 —> 583,200 —> 1,749,600
Cumulative 3,200 9,600 28,800 86,400 259,200 777,600 2,332,800

In only 8 generations we can cause 2.3 million letters to the President and to Congress! There are lots of sample letters around, but we are all better off if we generate them individually and not use the same wording. This will emphasize the grass roots nature of the campaign. It’s important to tell them that we don’t expect a partisan response and will not be shepherded into partisan camps. We should not write as Republicans or Democrats, but as Americans seeking something that is very good for the country.

Letters should be faxed rather than emailed or mailed through the post office. If you get a busy signal be persistent until your fax goes through.

Here’s what we are asking each recipient to do:

1. Write a letter to the President. Fax it to 202-456-2461.

2. Write a letter to both of your Senators and your Representative, even if they are already sponsors.
Get the fax numbers from http://www.webslingerz.com/jhoffman/congress-email.html

3. Send this email to 3 friends who will do the same. IMPORTANT - call them to follow up and make sure they have sent the letters and the emails. Ask them to also send an email to fairtax@speedfactory.net to confirm their communication and ask to be added to the list for future communications.

Let’s make April 15 just another day!
